Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of SnapCrest ("SnapCrest", "we", "us"), the screenshot service available at snapcrest.app, operated by an independent developer. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use SnapCrest.

1. The service

SnapCrest lets you capture screenshots of web pages. We currently offer a Free plan and a paid Freelancer plan, each with different limits on usage, formats, and history. We may add, change, or remove features and plans over time.

2. Your account

You must be at least 16 years old to use SnapCrest. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. Please provide accurate information and keep it up to date. Notify us at [email protected] if you believe your account has been compromised.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use SnapCrest to:

• capture or distribute content you do not have the right to access or use, or that infringes someone else's intellectual property or privacy;
• break any law or regulation, or capture content in violation of a target website's terms of use;
• attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the service or its infrastructure; or
• resell or redistribute the service except as expressly permitted by your plan.

You are solely responsible for the URLs you submit and the content you capture, and for ensuring you have the right to do so.

4. Subscriptions, billing, and payments

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis through Dodo Payments, our payment processor and merchant of record. By subscribing, you authorise recurring charges until you cancel. We may change our prices, and if we do we will give you reasonable notice before the change applies to your subscription.

5. Refunds

SnapCrest offers a Free plan so you can try the service before paying, so we do not offer a separate free trial or money-back period on paid plans. All payments are final and non-refundable, except where a refund is required by the consumer-protection laws that apply to you. 6. Cancellation

You can cancel your paid plan at any time through the subscription management portal linked in your account. When you cancel, you keep access to your paid features until the end of your current billing period, after which your account reverts to the Free plan.

7. Intellectual property

SnapCrest and its software, branding, and content are owned by us and protected by law. You retain ownership of the URLs you submit and the screenshots generated for you; you grant us the limited rights needed to operate and provide the service to you.

8. Service availability and disclaimer

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every screenshot will succeed, as some websites actively block automated capture.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SnapCrest will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, or business. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

10. Termination

You may stop using SnapCrest and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or use the service in a way that risks harm to us, other users, or third parties.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above, and for material changes we will provide a more prominent notice. Continued use of the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India for any dispute arising from them.
